TRADER HORNE - MORNING WAY - 1970 VINYL ALBUM IN EXCELLENT+ CONDITION DAWN RECORDS CAT NO: DNLS 3004 - MATRIX NOS A1/B1
SCROLL DOWN FOR PHOTOGRAPHS THIS AN EXCELLENT+ FIRST PRESSING COPY OF THE PSYCH-FOLK CLASSIC ALBUM "MORNING WAY" BY TRADER HORNE. (JUDY DYBLE OF FAIRPORT CONVENTION AND JACKIE MCAULEY OF VAN MORRISON'S BAND, THEM). THIS WAS THEIR ONLY ALBUM AND ACHIEVED CULT STATUS, DESPITE NOT SELLING WELL ON RELEASE, AND DYBLE QUITTING SHORTLY AFTER. THIS IS NOW EXTREMELY RARE IN THIS CONDITION AND IS HIGHLY SOUGHT-AFTER. THIS RECORD IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND PLAYS WITHOUT SKIPS, STICKS, AND NO SIGNIFICANT BACKGROUND NOISE. IT RETAINS ITS DEEP ORIGINAL LUSTRE. THERE ARE ONE OR TWO VERY LIGHT MARKS VISIBLE UNDER STRONG LIGHT, BUT THEY HAVE NO AFFECT ON THE AUDIO WHICH IS RICH AND CLEAR. THERE ARE VERY FEW SPINDLE TRACES ON THE 'A' SIDE LABEL, SUGGESTING THE 'B' SIDE HAS BEEN HARDLY PLAYED. THE LABELS AND CLEAN AND UNMARKED APART FROM A CLUB NAME STAMPED NEATLY ON THE 'A' SIDE (SEE PHOTOS) THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE, STILL RIGID, WITHOUT WRITING OR STICKERS. THERE ARE NO SIGNIFICANT CREASES, BUT THERE ARE SOME STORAGE MARKS AND LIGHT RINGWEAR TO THE REAR COVER. THERE IS SOME MINOR SCUFFING TO THE TOP OF THE SPINE, BUT IT REMAINS MOSTLY INTACT AND READABLE. AGAIN THERE IS A CLUB NAME STAMPED NEATLY IN THE INSIDE GATEFOLD. BOTH FRONT AND BACK ARE UNCREASED. THE INNER GATEFOLD IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE WITH NO DIRT, WRITING OR MARKS. OVERALL A VERY PRESENTABLE EXAMPLE DESPITE BEING 43 YEARS OLD. THE INNER SLEEVE IS PLAIN WHITE POLY-LINED PAPER WITH A UK PATENT NUMBER STAMP AND A CLUB NAME STAMP ON ONE CORNER. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
