TRAFFIC 'JOHN BARLEYCORN MUST DIE' Here's the original album as issued in the UK ISLAND RECORDS Pink 'i' Lable cat# ILPS 9116 from 1970 This gem, for me at least, is their excellent BEST album - it's got a sophisticated musical quality that surpassed everything before it - and although I won't presume to call it 'under-rated' because many DID know how good it was - it seemed that the word didn't really get around enough....and 'Low Spark' probably got more attention when that was issued. Here was a 'supergroup' that was really not a coming-together of egos or mage-star names, but for their intent and unity in making quintessential 'Traffic' music - led very capably by uber-talented Stevie Winwood. A TOP album recording, in TOP shape!! Solid PINK ISLAND label, unlaminated heavy card gatefold cover. The vinyl is Mint, full sheen - and plays great throughout. The Lables grade MINT The heavy gatefold card cover grades MINT very rare to find in this condition nowadays!
