Earliest 1st Pressing Matrices

This is the earliest possible release of Traffic's very first album without any suffix numbers on the A/B matrices. The Mono pressings are incredibly rare and much rarer than Stereo pressings which sold better than Mono versions at the time.

Cover: This is the 1st pressing gatefold laminated outer cover and unlaminated inner with internal double flip-backs . No writings/doodles or seam splits. No laminate lift. No damage to internal flip-backs. Inside is Excellent+. Outside is Near Excellent. The slighest touch of wear to corners, edges and spine - some wear to the top edge of the spine - see photo. Comes with an unlined paper inner sleeve with outer seams. Rates as Excellent overall.

Labels: Near Mint.

Vinyl: Thick heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl looks to be in Excellent condition. Lovely sheen to the vinyl. A few faint hairlines are all I can see under a strong light.

Gradings.......

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
