MEGA RARE!! TRAFFIC LP. Original 1967 UK.
“Mr. FANTASY”. FIRST ALBUM ***STEREO***
Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!!
Up for auction is this rare original FIRST album of Traffic on the original 1967 UK Pink Island Black Circle logo label.
This album is in close to Near MINT visual vinyl condition.
COVER: G/F cover. EX+. Would grade higher, but has a lamination crease at bottom right. But, all the lamination is totally intact. No splits. No writing. Slight ageing on the inside of the G/F. Nothing serious. Just good honest age. Hard to find another as good as this. Super high gloss on the laminate.
VINYL: Virtually MINT. Looks almost unplayed. Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Graded: a very strong EX++.
LABELS: NM. No spindle trails whatsoever. Beautiful bright colour.
MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE ONE: ILPS – 9061 – A2
SIDE TWO: ILPS – 9061 – B2
INNER SLEEVE: EX+.
AUDIO: As you would expect from vinyl this good. Absolutely superb and stunning. Perhaps just a couple of very mild crackles between one or two tracks which do not affect the superb playing quality. Would be hard to find better.
To sum up. This album is definitely a MUST HAVE ALBUM of the very best quality vinyl, and would certainly be a great addition to any existing collection. The sounds are superb and truly classic. This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
