ADDITIONAL NOTE:- This is truly one of the rarest LPs there is.  A Traffic 1st LP with an AWESOME record and an AWESOME cover to match.  Sometimes you are lucky to get the record in perfect condition - but this is the first time where I have managed to find a 1st Pressing of this LP with a VERTICAL LAMINATED spine still FULLY intact and in the same position it was sold in back in 1967.  I have had Mint ones before, but they have always had flattened spines.  But this is the first (and probably ONLY!) time I will able to offer a 'Day Of Release' 'Earliest' 1st Pressing an AWESOME record and an AWESOME cover - and still with its Original VERTICAL LAMINATED Spine!!!!  Now please read on about this INCREDIBLE item on offer below!!!!

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Traffic called 'Mr Fantasy' and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Island 'Circle' logo label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS TRAFFICS FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT, ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE ISLAND LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  AND IT HAS SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES - THAT ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE!!!!  FIRSTLY THIS LP HAS MUCH MUCH THICKER VINYL THAN ALL LATER PRESSINGS (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!!  SECONDLY IT HAS 'HEAVILY' AND FULLY 'TEXTURED' LABELS (LATER ONES DONT - THEY ARE 'SMOOTH' INSTEAD!)!!!!  THIRDLY THIS LP HAS A MUCH 'THINNER' GATEFOLD FLIPBACK 'CENTRE OPENING' COVER (LATER ONES ARE THICKER, HAVE A 'BLACK BORDER', AND OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE!)!!!!  AND LASTLY, THIS LP HAS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS 'A/B' MATRIX ENDINGS (WITH LARGE LETTERING!) AND WITH NO NUMBERS ADDED!!!!  ALL LATER PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAVE NUMBERS 'ADDED' AFTER THE MATRIXES (SUCH AS 'A2' FOR EXAMPLE) AND OFTEN LATER MATRIXES WERE ETCHED - OR STAMPED IN MUCH SMALLER LETTERING.  BUT NOT THIS ONE - THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE (WITH EVERY SINGLE CORRECT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DETAIL!) NOT ONLY THAT BUT THERE IS 1 MORE INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT DETAIL THAT MAKES THIS, THE RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!  AND THAT IS THAT THIS LP IS 1ST PRESSED IN ULTRA RARE STEREO!!!!  AND AGAIN - THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  BACK IN 1967 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - MONO ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED THE UK RECORD MARKET, AND 99% OF ALL UK 1ST PRESSINGS WERE MADE IN COMMON MONO - WITH BARELY ANY IN STEREO AT ALL!!!!  MOST SHOPS DIDNT EVEN STOCK STEREOS AS STANDARD BACK IN 1967 - AND IT WAS ONLY AVAILABLE BY 'SPECIAL ORDER' ONLY!!!!  AS A RESULT, FINDING AN ULTRA RARE STEREO 1ST PRESSING OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP IS VERY VERY HARD INDEED!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK STEREO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ISLAND 'CIRCLE' LOGO LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'A/B' MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'THINNER' GATEFOLD LAMINATED FLIPBACK 'CENTRE OPENING' STEREO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Island UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in AWESOME condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is ILPS 9061 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Island label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK Stereo 1st Pressing!!!! 

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear (apart from a fractional touch around the centre holes - but only fractional!), and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in AMAZING condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  There are a few ULTRA faint TINY and MEGA light pressing traces on 1 side - though these are VERY obviously 'part of the vinyl' (and EXACTLY 'as manufactured!), can ONLY be seen under EXTREME light - and do NOT sound in ANY way AT ALL!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AWESOME!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  And grading EXACTLY how this record was manufactured - this record must grade Excellent++++ if not MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 'Earliest' 1st Press 'Thinner' Gatefold Laminated Flipback 'Centre Opening' STEREO Cover is in absolutely AWESOME condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (which is still FULLY laminated and VERTICAL!), barely ANY corner wear AT ALL to the outer corners (NOT through the colour!), only VERY slight corner wear to the spinal corners, NO splits and NO 'holes' to the spinal corners, possible 'tipping in' to the EXTREME corners ONLY, barely ANY creases AT ALL (I can see 1 on the reverse of the cover - and any others are so TINY they simply arent worth mentioned!), the cover is very VERY flat looking indeed! (NOT the spine though - that is still PERFECTLY vertical!), VERY shiny laminate, only the MEGA faintest record impression on the reverse (look hard though - this is as minor as it gets!), a couple of absolutely TINY laminate lifts on the reverse (I am being REALLY picky here - these are TINY!), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering - and even the VERY fragile 'opening single thickness front of the cover' has NO feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in AWESOME condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, STUNNING flat flipbacks, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better (most would grade MINT(Minus)!) and it is difficult to imagine how a better example exists!!!!  AWESOME COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
