On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Traffic called 'Mr Fantasy' and is a VERY rare Stereo Pressing on the 'textured' Island label!!!! THIS IS THE MUCH MUCH RARER STEREO PRESSING OF THIS CLASSIC LP!!!!  HOWEVER THIS STEREO PRESSING OF THIS STUNNING LP IS EXTRA SPECIAL!!!!  IT HAS A MEGA RARE 'DIFFERENT' COVER AND THE RAREST ISLAND LABEL FOR THIS LP!!!!  MOST SALES FOR THIS LP TOOK PLACE ON THE 1ST PRESS 'CIRCLE' ISLAND LOGO AND THIS CAME WITH A STANDARD GATEFOLD SLEEVE.  HOWEVER IN LATE 1969 A DECISON MUST HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO SCRAP THE EXISTING COVER STYLE AND INTRODUCE THIS VERY RARE AND DIFFERENT COVER!!!!  PLEASE DO NOT CONFUSE THIS COVER/RECORD I HAVE LISTED HERE WITH THE LATER 1970s RE-ISSUE COVERS/RECORDS - BECAUSE THIS ONE IS VERY DIFFERENT!!!!   THIS COVER WAS ONLY USED FOR A VERY SHORT TIME AND IS VERY DIFFERENT TO THE LATER RE-ISSUE COVERS, AND ALSO VERY DIFFERENT TO THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS COVERS!!!!  THE 1ST PRESSED COVERS HAVE A GATEFOLD 'UNIPACK' SLEEVE WITH A SINGLE FLAP FRONT.  HOWEVER THIS RARE COVER HAS A STANDARD GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH THE RECORD ENTERED ON THE OPENING EDGE.  IT ALSO HAS A 'BLACK BORDER' AROUND THE EDGE OF THE SLEEVE - WHICH IS MASSIVELY DIFFERENT TO THE 1ST PRESSINGS!!!!  HOWEVER WHAT MAKES THIS COVER DIFFERENT TO THE SAME STYLE 1970s RE-ISSUE COVERS IS THAT THIS COVER HAS THE FULL ISLAND LOGO IN A BOX ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER (LATER COVERS HAVE THE LATER 'i' ISLAND LOGO)!!!!  IT IS ALSO PRESSED BY E.J.DAY AS ALL EARLY ISLAND COVERS FROM 1969/70 WERE.  THIS COVER WOULD HAVE ONLY LASTED A VERY VERY SHORT TIME WITH THE FULL ISLAND LOGO AND THIS WOULD HAVE SOON BEEN CHANGED TO THE LATER 'i' ISLAND LOGO!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT MOST SALES OF THIS LP HAD ALREADY TAKEN PLACE BY 1969/70 - AND THIS MAKES THIS A VERY HARD COVER TO LOCATE!!!!  BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE RECORD IS ON A VERY RARE LABEL AND IS IMPOSSIBLY HARD TO LOCATE!!!!  THIS RECORD IS PRESSED ON THE VERY RARE (FOR THIS LP) 'TEXTURED' PINK 'i' ISLAND LABEL!!!!  AGAIN - MOST SALES HAPPENED ON THE 1ST PRESS 'CIRCLE' ISLAND LABEL - AND BY THE TIME THIS LABEL WAS BEING USED THIS LP WOULD HAVE BEEN SELLING IN VERY VERY LOW NUMBERS!!!!  THIS LABEL DIDNT LAST LONG AT ALL - AND CERTAINLY I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER COPY OF THIS LP ON THIS LABEL!!!!  IT IS PRESSED ON MEGA THICK VINYL AND STILL HAS THE 1ST PRESS MATRIX NUMBERS ENDING IN A & B!!!!  THE MEGA RARE COVER AND THE RECORD ON THIS MEGA RARE LABEL MAKE THIS LP EASY TO DATE FROM AROUND LATE 1969/EARLY 1970.  THIS LP REALLY IS IMPOSSIBLY RARE TO FIND WITH THIS VERY SHORT LIVED COVER AND ON THIS MEGA RARE 'PINK i' ISLAND LABEL!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SUPERB OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Island UK STEREO pressing from around 1969/70 and is in GREAT condition (the cover in particular is SUPERB)!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILPS 9061 on the ORIGINAL MEGA RARE TEXTURED 'Pink i' Island label (see picture) and is a MUCH RARER UK Stereo Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Traffic at their best!!!! Any fan of Traffic, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few light hairlines/scufflines, and only some VERY light scuffing only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, only the VERY occassional low level click, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO nasty constant crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The MEGA RARE E.J.Day Gatefold Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few creases (cover is VERY flat looking), barely ANY rubbing (MEGA rare on this cover), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! There is NO rips, NO tears and NO staining!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE AND SHORT LIVED PRESSING OF THIS LP AND IS VERY VERY HARD TO FIND!!!!  DONT MISS OUT!!!!
