‘Welcome to the Canteen’ is a live album, but the band-name ‘Traffic’ was not mentioned on the cover. It was recorded live at Fairfield Halls, Croydon and the Oz Benefit Concert in London. Founder member Dave Mason, now recording for Harvest, again rejoined the band, but it proved only a short stay. Here two songs of his were played as well as three classic Traffic numbers. Well recorded and a fine set too, this a very impressive example and very little played with fantastic sound quality. A highly recommended album for all Traffic fans and these early-made copies included that very distinctive deeply pinched spine end cover as seen in my close-up scans.
This LP comes complete with its Island inner Bag and a heavy quality constructed, wide pinched, glossy fully laminated picture sleeve.
Both record labels and both sides of the LP are in pristine Near Mint condition, beautiful labels with signs of just a couple of plays, and a beautiful vinyl LP too.

The LP play’s with great sound quality throughout.
The LP comes in its original blue Island Records inner bag, and is protected in it’s glossy laminated picture sleeve which is in Near Mint condition. No seam splits or tears, a beautiful fully laminated picture sleeve with the early wide, with pinched ends spine.
