Description

TRAIN KEPT A-ROLLIN’
TINY BRADSHAW

Although considered a mainstay of the early days of R&B, Tiny Bradshaw really had a two-part career, in the 1930's in swing and from the mid-1940's on as a best-selling r&b artist. Between 1950 and '53, Bradshaw hit the top ten of the R&B charts with titles like 'Heavy Juice," "I'm Going To Have Myself A Ball” but this song, “The Train Kept A Rollin” perhaps had the most impact of all. While this obscure R&B non-hit wasn’t heard much back in 1952, it was covered again and again but other new bands such as the Yardbirds, Aerosmith, Jeff Beck, Johnny Burnette R&R Trio, Eric Clapton, Hanoi Rocks, Motorhead, Screaming Lord Such, Twisted Sister and many, many others. THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGAN – WITH THIS ORIGINAL SINGLE ON KING.
