Travis Tritt Proud Of The Country Copperhill Records CHR 0001 1987
A truly rare record that is very hard to find.
Travis Tritt's first album, recorded in a small studio in the woods between Marietta and Roswell, GA, prior to his signing with Warner Bros. Records. Released on the independent Copperhill label, the recording quickly received rave reviews and Tritt was signed to Warner Bros. The rest, as they say, is history.
The front cover is autographed by Tritt, "8-28-87 To Tony, A good friend I never met. Best Wishes, Travis Tritt." The dedication is to the person who wrote Tritt's first biography for the small Copperhill label. 
This album had been on file at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in Macon, GA, until its closing. The "GMHF-33-96-5-128" written on the front cover and record label denote the museum's catalog number.
The record and cover are in fantastic condition.
The album jacket has no UPC or bar code, as the record was mainly sold in and around Georgia by Tritt at early gigs.
ENVIRONMENT: This item has been stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home under climate-controlled conditions since I first purchased or received it.
