Description
The Treasury Star Parade was a radio program created by the United States Department of the Treasury during World War II to promote the sale of war bonds. These broadcasts featured popular celebrities of the time who participated to help raise funds for the war effort.
Lanny Ross, born Lancelot Patrick Ross on January 19, 1906, in Seattle, Washington, rose to prominence as a beloved radio personality during the 1930s and 1940s.
