Description

Up for offer is “The Garden Of Jane Delawney” by Trees. A classic must have album of folk/rock. This is the U.K. first pressing on CBS cat no: 63837. I am not one for record grading. I’ve had records that look mint but play badly and some that look awful but play well. As this is quite a rare album I will give a run down on how it sounds. Played on a high quality revealing system.
SIDE 1 Plays extremely well. Just a few light clicks on Track 2 & 3. Celia Humphris voice is crystal clear. SIDE 2 Not quite as good as side 1 Some clicks towards the end of track1 Tiny amount of crackle for a few seconds and a couple of clicks track 2 Track 4 has one noticeable pop Little bit of crackle at the beginning of track 5
No audible distortion, sticks or jumps anywhere.

The sleeve has some wear as you might expect from a record 50 years old. There is a name on the back in ink (why do it?) Some edge wear. Original CBS inner included but record will be put in a new inner after being ultra sonically cleaned. This might even improve the sound further.
