Here's another classic album with great audio sound quality!..
Issued on EMI on 21st July 1972...BLM 5001..UK pressing in a non laminated sleeve..Complete with lyric inner sleeve...
There is quite a lot of info in the run out grooves as follows..
Side one:..BLM 5001 A 2 U (machine stamped).. "Bobil Solid Gold is Gold" MARK ILP A 1U (etched)..
Side 2:..BLM 5001 B 2 U (machine stamped).."The Mad Monk" MARK ILP B 1 U (etched)..
The mothers and stampers are 4 GRA and 3 GRL..
Play grade is easily EX..It's got a clean and undistorted sound with no clicks or pop or other audio defects..
The disc looks EX minus..There is a very light scuff on the 3rd track on side one..It's the sort of scuff caused by catching the disc with a finger nail (we've all done it!)..It's not deep or dangerous and has no affect on play at all..VG+..Apart from which,there are a few light paper scuffs/hairlines but they really are minimal...There are no nasty or terminal scratches and the disc still has a resonable sheen.
The disc plays flat on the deck with no edge warps or dishing..
The labels are undamaged..There is some spindle wear,but it's not excessive..
The sleeve is EX minus..It has no serious defects or damage,but there are a couple of minor ones that need pointing out:..Slight corner wear and slight ageing to the white..A small age/stain spot on the back (to the right of his top hat)..
Otherwise,it's a clean sleeve!..
It has no rips,tears,seam splits,stains scribble,stickers or sellotape or other such defects...The colours are unfaded,there is minimal dischape or edge rubbing..The spine is square and undamaged (A small section of the text is not legible)..
The inner sleeve has a few stain spots on side 2,there is light dischape and the bottom edge has a small seam split (2.5 cm/1 inch)..
You are welcome to collect this in person or from The Southend Record Fair (11th May,8th June) and then the second Sunday in each month)..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...
Venue for this fair is West Leigh Schools on the A13..SS9 2JB...Record collections always wanted!.
