T.REX the Slider 1972 Vinyl LP BLN 5001 1st A1U B1U ‘mad Monk‘ EMI.
Label: EMI ~ Cat No: BLN 5001 Twin Matrix No's: BLN 5001 A-2U/B-2U & MARK 1 LP A-1U/B-1U Also Etched into the Dead Wax on Side 1 is "Bobil Solid Gold is gold" and on Side 2 is "THE MAD MONK". This is the Original 1st U.K. Pressing with the Vinyl & Cover in BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!!! The Vinyl is in EXCELLENT- CONDITION!!! It retains a Beautiful glossy shine with just some light inner sleeve withdrawal marks and the odd light surface marks which in no way effect or detract from this CLASSIC L.P.!!! This album has been stored and Unplayed for many years, but I played it today prior to listing and can confirm that it plays SUPERBLY, with the minimum of surface noise and NO heavy clicks or pops, just BEAUTIFUL AND DYNAMIC AUDIO!!! The 1st Press labels with the "MADE IN GT. BRITAIN" and "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD" text are Virtually Unblemished with NO writing, NO grubby marks and NO spindle wear (see photo's). The Cover is in Nice Order with NO writing and just some light edge/spine wear, but overall still in good shape (see photo's). Comes Complete with the Original Lyric Inner Sleeve with NO splits or tears.
