TRIFLE "FIRST MEETING" LP 1971 1ST PRESS
I am selling my husband's collection. This is Trifle's only Album which was pressed in extremely small numbers on the famous Dawn Records Label and is listed in the Rare Records Guide. It was released in 1971 and has since become a real collector's item. The tracks are:- Alibi Annie, Home Again, One Way Glass, But I might Die Tonight, Is it Loud, Old Fashioned Prayer Meeting, New Religion, Devil comin' and Candle Light. This is a great copy which plays perfectly.....
The sleeve is a non laminated gatefold with a textured surface in good condition. The front and back of the sleeve are marked where the dark brown textured surface has been worn. These are most noticeable around the ring mark area.There are a few white spots on the front. I have tried to highlight this in the photos but please ask if you want more detail. The corners and edges are a bit scuffed. The spine has a 3inch scuff mark at the bottom and a couple of white marks but the writing is still legible. The sleeve is printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse. The inside sleeve is a fabulous double spread photograph of the band on horseback. This is in excellent condition. Overall the sleeve is in very good condition.
The vinyl is contained in the original poly lined sleeve. This is in good condition although a bit discoloured at the edges.
Vinyl record itself is in excellent condition. It is almost without bemish and maintains its original sheen. There are no scratches and it plays near perfectly.EX+
Orange Dawn Label is in great condition as can be seen from the photo.
