Cover has worn edges top and bottom, worn center spine, 5" seamsplit at top opening corner, small corner crease at spine, small arc of ring wear top front and top and bottom back.
Lp like new, probably never played, found in store as new promo back in the day.
Noted for its fantastic ice blue Dali-esque surrealist front cover art, this mid 80s Perth, Western Australia hard rock rarity features a solid power trio sound led by the wailing guitar of James Page ( no known relation to Jimmy) tearing things up in a very first RUSH album-inspired, straightforward old school metal type style. But its great, almost universal power lies in the blistering, incredible instrumental ( instrumetal?) track, "The Hammer," that takes it all to another level, and makes this one well worth getting. Pile-driving polyrhythms and screaming leads dominate this early prog metal opus; worth the cost of admission for this track alone. Throw in the awesome cover and its obscurity, and it makes for quite a collectible in the genre.
