Long deleted Akarma Records re-production double vinyl re-issue of this fabulous late '60s American psychedelic monster. Hard to find and long out of print original 14-track vinyl reissue of the sole album by the legendary US 60s psychedelic band TRIPSICHORD (MUSIC BOX), in superb MINT condition, printed in Italy on the independent Akarma record label, original album is from 1969. Awesome and mindblowing 60s west coast psychedelic masterpiece!! This is one of THE essential artefacts from the late 60s San Francisco scene. A dreamy, melodic sparkling gem of an album from start to finish, contains complex vocal harmonies, soaring trippy acid guitar work and wonderful original songs. This long out of print double album comes housed in a beautiful gatefold textured sleeve with gold foil print, also features 5 rare and superb bonus tracks!! Tripsichord Music Box (name shortened to 'Tripsichord' in 1970) were one of the Bay Area's most enigmatic and amazing bands. Despite being one of the least documented and least commercially successful of the San Francisco Sound family of groups under producer Matthew Katz' control, the music they left behind is quite stellar and easily ranks alongside the output of stablemates Moby Grape and It's A Beautiful Day from the same period (1968-70). On offer here, from my own collection, is one of the top twenty '60s San Francisco acid rock albums. This beauty has everything you could ask of an album of this genre. Long, flowing, reverb-laden twin guitar solos, mystical lyrics and great melodies with soaring male and female vocal harmonies. The art work on this double LP reissue is truly stunning, with gold foil stamping and thick card textured gatefold sleeve, contains 5 bonus tracks, including the super rare single.

Records Are Graded In The Following Way:

MINT: The record displays barely any signs of use, if any, with no marks or deterioration in sound quality. Extra items and cover are near perfect.

EXCELLENT: Shows only minor signs of being played with very little lessening in sound quality. The Cover and extras will have some light wear and or creasing

VERY GOOD: Has been played many times but has no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. Cover and extras will have normal wear and tear but no major defects

GOOD: Has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and any extras may suffer from folding, scuffing, split spine, discoloration etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable and has considerable surface noise and may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly. Covers badly damaged or partly missing

+ or - : Indicates slightly better (+) or slightly lesser (-) condition than main grade

All records are from my personal collection and have been carefully play graded before listing. In many cases I have owned them from new and all have been looked after very well. Please check out my other similar LPs currently listed on eBay.

Packing Procedures: All LPs are securely and well packed in top quality material to avoid any unnecessary damage during transit. When posted the records are removed from the cover, if possible, and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to prevent sleeve splits in the post. I use brand new mailers, either the envelope style with thick stiffeners to prevent any sleeve bends in transit, or the "cruciform" style that wrap around the LP. I aim to dispatch all items within 48 hours of receiving payment. It is recommended that you choose the insurance option for higher value items. As stated above I cannot be held responsible for any item(s) lost or damaged in the post that are not shipped via insured / registered mail. I always obtain a certificate proof of posting receipt for every item sent, which will complete our transaction.
