Along with the Performing Ferret Band and the Desperate Bicycles, maybe the best DIY-album. Compiled on Chuck Warner's quality guaranteeing Messthetics series. Hard to believe that Calvin Johnson has not heard tracks like "Crush on You" when he formed Beat Happening: cardboard box drums, spoken (rather than sung) lyrics and wonderfully distorted guitars. Personal fave from the period and only selling this due to upgrade.
