SUPER RARE TROY HESS 45 WITH PRESS RELEASE

"YOU OUGHTA SEE PICKLES NOW"  

One of the most sought after Kid artist 45s of all time, and without a doubt the most unusual Kid-sung record ever!  Troy Hess, son of Rockabilly artist BENNY HESS, was on stage with Bob Wills at the age of 2.  He made his first recording at age 3.  And his masterpiece, the record offered here, was made at the ripe old age of 7. 

If you are familiar with this record, you already know the rarity and cult status of Please Don’t Go Topless Mother.  Although not as well know, You Oughta See Pickles Now is equally good in its own right.  If you’ve not heard Troy Hess before, we have recorded both songs in their entirety below.

What makes this offering even more special is that this record came from the collection of a deceased DJ, and inside the paper sleeve was a folded Press Release note for DJ’s telling about Troy Hess.

The sound clips were recorded from the actual 45 being offered, with no filtering or enhancing of any kind.  

This 45 is clean and retains much of its original glossy luster.  Under a lamp the vinyl shows a few light scuffs and surface scratches, nothing deep and nothing that can be felt on the grooves. The labels are both in excellent shape.  

This 45 will be placed between pieces of cardboard inside a paper 45 sleeve for protection during shipping.
