Intelligent hard rock seasoned by a few "exotic" touches. Quite different in feel than other North American power trios, undoubtedly due to the European roots of some of the players. (The bonus track, "Wedding Song," continues the East European theme.) Probably it's my kraut bias talking, but I consider Troyka to be one of the definitive Canadian albums.

Their style is a mix of hard rock, psychedelia and some folk oriented material. The guitarwork is pretty impressive and all in all I dig the way this band sounds. There's nothing major I need to criticize here
