T-REX - 'THE SLIDER'
This outstanding copy of T-Rex's acclaimed seventh studio album is a UK 1st pressing dating from initial July 1972 release.
Two of their finest songs: "Telegram Sam" and "Metal Guru" were released as singles from this incredible album.
It bears custom EMI Records labels: BLN 5001
Matrix numbers: BLN 5001 A-2U & BLN 5001 B-2U
'BOBIL Solid Gold is gold - MARC 1LP A-1U & 'THE MAD MONK - MARK 1 LPB-1U' are hand-etched into each respective run-out.

Housed in an unlaminated cover & complete with original red printed lyric inner-sleeve.

A superb looking set with just one or two faint spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Superb deep-gloss playing surface which apart from a single, harmless surface scuff on side 1 are unmarked on strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow shine but no further blemishes or wear. Both sides of this well looked-after disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound quality: NEAR MINT
This superb sounding copy has clearly been rarely played and my single careful play-check at volume found no evidence of any groove/play wear on any track or in either channel. In fact, apart from a few light ticks between tracks, there is little to fault on this incredible sounding album.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A respectable clean & undamaged example which apart from some minor storage rubbing has very little going against it. The spine is clean and fully worded and both seams are unstressed and unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT -
Clean & flat with the unavoidable light disc impression and a 5cm lower seam split but no heavy creases or writing anywhere.
