Description
You won't find a better example of this LP. It's on the UK Fontana label by The Tubby Hayes Quintet on the Fontana label (mono recording) from 1962. It's an original UK pressing with catalogue no. 680998 TL. The sleeve is the original flipback type which is laminated on the front.. It's in almost perfect condition with minimal wear. The edges and the spine are in almost perfect condition. The wording along the spine is 100% readable. You won't find a better cover, I promise. It's graded Ex++. The inner bag is in superb condition. It's a polythene lined type which features the usual 'Plastic bags can be dangerous...' print and states that the British Patents are 800513 and 973939. It's original. The record is just superb. It plays superbly with some minor surface noise on both sides and the very occasional pop and click. I've graded the record as Ex-. It is a seriously good record. I try to grade everything as conservatively as possible. It has the Fontana black and silver textured labels on both sides and there are minimal spindle marks. The matrix numbers are - side one - 680998 V 1L V 1//420 V 21 - side two - 680998 V 2L V 1//420 VV1. I have tried to analyse all the matrix numbers as accurately as positively.
