This 1968 rare UK 1st press is on the original blue and silver Fontana label. It is complete with the very earliest 1Y/1 - 2Y/1 matrix, the original company inner sleeve and the original laminated flipback sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has an exceptional gloss, the vinyl has only been very lightly played. There are just a few very light wispy marks. There are no significant signs of play at all. The label has the wonderful original solid sheen. The silver text is exceptionally sharp and bright and there is only the very slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent, superb audio separation and clarity. When played at volume very light background noise can be heard and there is the slightest noise between tracks but certainly nothing that would spoil the enjoyment of this album at any point. The sound is still superb throughout.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in Excellent condition. It still has the rare original WH Smith 28/1 price sticker. The laminate has the most sensational polished shine, the colours are vivid and the text is solid and sharp. There is a little wear to the top corner and extremely light wear to the opening edge. The unlaminated rear of the sleeve is in amazing condition, extremely bright and completely clean. The flipbacks are sealed and complete and the text is perfect. The whole of this wonderful sleeve is very solid and the spine is very firm clear text.
