Original 1960 lp on Tempo (TAP 29)
Tubby Hayes Quartet - Tubby's Groove.
Original UK pressing. Superb set, lovely album, no need for me to elaborate here. Great copy.
I would conservatively describe the condition of the vinyl as a very strong vg+. The vinyl is very clean overall, there are quite a few very light whispy scuffs/hairlines when viewed under direct strong light, but these are all superficial only and purely surface. There are a few hairline scratches but they are very light and don't affect sound quality in any way. There are no heavy marks and nothing that affects playback or sound quality. Sound quality is superb throughout with just very minor background between some tracks. Both labels are clean but do show some mild spindle wear when viewed under direct strong light. The jacket is in lovely conditon, seams and spine are clean and complete, full laminate, slight wear to laminate at bottom right front corner, some wear to bottom corners. (vg+/vg+)

Having spent several years buying and selling records on a full time basis i feel i have a good understanding of the grading process. I study all records visually under a direct strong light and test play to assess sound quality. I am strict on condition, i rarely if ever grade a record higher than 'ex+' even if i know it's unused, i don't feel a 'mint/mint-' grade can be truly accurate when applied to vinyl.
