MONO TL-5195

Here is one of the Holy Grails of jazz albums - one of the most collectable ever. I had a copy of this with a superb pressing but not so good cover. I recently bought another with a not so good pressing but superb cover. So, I'll swap cover and disc and keep the not so good one and offer here what I hesitate to call pristine but I think as near as you are going to get. The album is in superb condition - it plays through with the absolute minimum of noise - mostly none at all but a couple of spots where there is the slightest dust noise so maybe a go through a decent cleaning machine would get rid. But I am being absolutely finnicky here. There are no clicks, no scratches so this is a superb press - the sound is crystal clear and the MONO recording jumps out of the speakers as if the guys are in the room.

The cover is also superb. There is no spine wear, no ringwear. and no splits whatsoever. Probably the best copy of this amazing album you are likely to find. I've started the auction at a ridiculously low price given the prices this album sells for worldwide and often not in the best of conditions.
