Description

I am selling this extremely rare item as an as is collectible due to the "eye test" condition of the vinyl which shows visible sratches. 
The pink labels on both sides are in excellent condition. The 45 will ship in a generic white sleeve.
This 45 was released by the South Florida-based band Cryer sometime in or around 1985. Shortly after, three of the members of the group went on to form the legendary underground "sleaze metal" band Tuff Luck, who released a full-length album on the independent label New Renaissance Records in 1987 and carried on into the 1990s. 
Featured on this 45 are future Tuff Luck members Dave Scott (lead guitar), Todd Kelly (drums) and Kenny Monroe (bass). Kenny went on to be the original lead vocalist in Tuff Luck, but he was the bass player in Cryer. Cryer's lead singer was a chap named Paul Colt.
Dave Scott - one of the best guitarists out there - went on to play in bands including Dog For A Day (with TL drummer Todd Kelly), The Nocturnals, Martyr Plot (with Ginger Fish) and Non-Toxic (with Tony Thompson). He is still playing the blues in Vero Beach.
Kenny Monroe went on to feature in Detroit-area bands including Mog Stunt Team, Loudhouse and The Dragon-God.
I have no idea of the value of this item. It is a piece of the oft overlooked musical history of South Florida which in addition to the bands that "made it" during or soon after this era (Marilyn Manson, Saigon Kick, The Mavericks to name a few) also included a ton of great bands that didn't garner much or any notice outside of what was a great local scene for many years. 
This is also a great collectible for fans of hard rock/metal guitarists and fans of indy label metal bands from 1980s. 
Again, no idea of the value of this record, if the auction goes above $50 I will insure the package out of my end. I have had this 45 for close to 40 years (it was given to me in its current condition) - again it is extremely rare and I doubt another will come up for sale anytime soon, if ever.
