TULSA RADIO ROCK & SOUL 1950s/60s OLDIES double LP: KAKC Solid Gold “30 Goldens”

Gatefold album from Post Records with photos of KAKC Big 97 disc jockeys Lee Bayley, Randy Castle, Johnny Laine, Tom Gordon, Jim Peters, Bobby Otis and Dan Stone on the gatefold spread and two albums of hits including James Brown, Count Five, McCoys, Robert Parker, Cannibal & The Headhunters, Van Morrison, Chuck Berry, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Dells, Syndicate of Sound, Esquires,  Knickerbockers, Dobie Gray, Barbara Mason, Robert Knight, Billy Stewart, et al. Records are scratched up, G, with writing on labels. Jacket has very worn spots with splits and writing on front and back, G. Not a great item for listening -- although these songs are widely available elsewhere anyway -- but a nice memento of 1960s radio and Tulsa.

LPs, EPs and 45s are graded M (mint), NM (near mint), VG+, VG (very good), VG-, G+, G (good), G-, F (fair), and P (poor).

A VG+ record may have some visible scuffs and light scratches and plays well with little surface noise. Scratches on records graded VG and VG- may be deep enough to feel with your fingernail, or there may be scratches throughout that cause surface noise. On records in the G+, G and G- range the level of the music is still above the surface noise caused by scuffs and scratches. Surface noise is as loud as the music on records graded F and louder than the music on P records. P records are likely to be unplayable.

[+ and -  denote in-between grades. Grades with a slash in between indicate the condition of Side A/Side B.]

Jackets graded VG+ have only slight wear; jackets graded VG are more worn but still intact unless defects are noted. G jackets show definite damage and F and P jackets are probably falling apart. Splits, markings, cut corners, and other defects will be noted.
