Columbia 81007-F (12")

Artist: Algazi Effendi / Osman Bey
Tracks: Bir Katra Itchun / Gazel, Mahitabin Beni Seyrane

Terrific, late 20s Turkish disc, on Columbia's export series - probably recorded in late 1927. The Algazi side is accompanied by oud and violin (he also was one of the relatively small number of Sephardic performers), and the Osman Bey tune is interestingly ONLY accompanied by qanun.
