Description

This is a very rare 10" vinyl, in excellent condition, with all four card inserts and square poster. Limited to 500 copies, in October 1979.

Still has dated shop price sticker on the front of the plastic sleeve. Actually says 6.10.79

The plastic cover had shrunk a little over the years which has creased one side of the colour 11" insert. However, I have now placed all the contents loosely in a larger 12" sleeve to allow the 11" square poster to flatten out on that side (last 2 photos). It will be sent in a 12" mailer.

"Turn to Red is an EP and the debut release by English post-punk band Killing Joke.  On 26 October 1979, the EP was officially released in 10" format by Malicious Damage. Melody Maker made it Single of the Week on 10 November 1979. A supportive namecheck by John Lydon in NME secured more interest in the new band. An advance of the EP was sent to legendary DJ John Peel, who was keen to champion the band's urgent new sound, and the release received extensive airplay. The band was immediately invited to record a John Peel Session for the BBC on 17 October 1979, which was aired on 29 October."

Item will be carefully packed, and the vinyl placed in a new paper liner outwith the original packaging. Special delivery within UK.

I always list with the eBay global shipping, however, if requested, I will look up and quote direct international shipping to your country.
