Description

TURQUOISE 53 Summer street / Tales of Flossie Fillet ORIGINAL UK 45 Original UK pressing on the Decca label from 1967. Centrepiece is still intact.  The generic Decca sleeve is in EX condition and the record is in NEAR MINT condition. 
A wonderful upbeat psych gem that's seldom seen for sale. The actual 'A' side is good 'pastoral' psych in the mould of Jason Crest or Kaleidoscope. However. ..it's the flip that's the big one here really; LOVELY chords struck clear as a WHO with Pete Townshend recording! These lads from Muswell Hill were friends with The KINKS Davies brothers, and probably influenced by their style too. Absolutely fantastic record - nice harmonies, brilliantly arranged and produced, and a wonderful record. Why this wasn't an A-side proves my theory that record company execs had little idea of what people wanted to hear.
