TV PERSONALITIES Mod Is Dead LP (Teenage Kicks KICK LP-14)
Unplayed MINT copy of this ultra rare LP. If you were ever wondering if this really exists – it does!
This album was released in 1997 in a limited edition of exactly 30 (thirty!) copies which were given away for free mostly to people who didn’t know at all who the band was. So try finding another one.
The recording was made at Circus Gammelsdorf 13th December 1991 and the band at this time featured Dan, Jowe & Jeff, i.e. the most legendary line-up.
Recording quality is not perfect but surely at least as good as your average TVPs live album. The performance is stunning and light years more powerful than your average TVPs live album. There are some classics such as When Emily Cries & David Hockney’s Diaries, as well as some rather unknown ones like Love Is Better Than War and How Does It Feel To Be Loved, plus lots of great inbetween comments from both Dan & Jowe.
