Description

TELEVISION PERSONALITIES: Smashing Time / King And Country

ROUGH TRADE RT-051 UK 1980 7" White Label Promo / Test Pressing with plain sleeve, stamped labels and original Rough Trade press release dated "21 July 1980"

matrix side A': RTO-51-A-1 * A PORKY PRIME CUT
matrix side B': RTO-51-B-1 * PORKY - AND NOW I'VE GOT TO WAIT IN FOR MY RELATIVES

Very rare original white label promo / test pressing of one of the best singles by DIY punk pioneers TV Personalities and the great Dan Treacy (see Mario Panciera's excellent 45 Revolutions book for more details on the band and their early releases) - comes complete with the original plain sleeve and the Rough Trade press release which states 21st July as the date of release - a historic punk/new wave collectible in great condition too.

Condition
cover: ex (original plain sleeve)
vinyl: ex- (minor wear)
press release: ex (original xerox as issued, not recent xerox)
* strict record collector grading (however I don't use higher than ex/ex grade)

P&P
registered p&p for Europe GBP7.50
registered p&p for all other countries GBP9.80
* I'm a collector myself so strict packing policies applied (I have never received a complaint for a broken item - all records moved out of ps and put in plain sleeve and ps in plastic sleeve)
