Description

You are bidding on an original EP with picture sleeve by English beat girl TWINKLE, best known for her Top 10 hit "Terry" from 1964 and "Golden Lights" from 1965. She was discovered by the manager of The Bachelors. This EP, titled "A Lonely Singing Doll", was released in 1965. The title track is an English sung cover of the Serge Gainsbourg classic "Poupee De Cire, Poupee De Son".

Title - "A Lonely Singing Doll" (English version of Serge Gainsbourg's Eurovision winning song "Poupee De Cire, Poupee De Son" as performed by France Gall).
Label - Decca DFE 8621 (mono), released in the UK in 1965.
Songs featured - "A Lonely Singing Doll", "Unhappy Boy", "Ain't Nobody Home But Me" and "Golden Lights".
Mega rare EP, almost impossible to find and highly collectable. I am selling it, because I recently (after 15 years of searching), I finally found a Mint copy for my own collection. So now I am trying to find a new home for my old copy, which is still in very nice condition and should make someone very happy. LOW FIRST BID.

Condition of the sleeve: VG++ (crease in top left corner, some discoloring and staining on the back - see scans for more details).
Condition of the record: EX+ (has a slight scuff on side 2 and some tiny paper scuffs, plays brilliantly on my record player, beautiful clean labels).

Payment methods: The Netherlands: bank transfer only. Europe: bank transfer, Paypal. Rest of the world: Paypal only.
Shipping charges (PLEASE NOTE: NOT $ 4.00 AS EBAY FORCES US TO QUOTE): The Netherlands: 2.00 euros Europe: $ 5.00 Rest of the world: $ 7.00
