Sleeve: Excellent

The sleeve is in sound condition, some light wear to corners, the spine text is readable. Laminate delamination at spine edge, it is adhered soundly across the rest of the sleeve. The laminate has retained its gloss shine, and the back is clean with light signs of record storage pressure.

Insert: Excellent

A clean insert with one crease top right.

Inner Sleeve: Excellent

Inner sleeve is sound no splits, some light handling signs and a storage crease.

Labels: Excellent

Clean and unmarked labels, with some light spindle lines.

Vinyl Visually: Excellent

Clean surfaces, with one or two fine harmless sleeve removal wispy lines on both sides. Nothing on the vinyl to affect sound quality.  

Audio Quality: Excellent

Plays with clarity throughout, some isolated static ticks, no distortion, sticks, jumps.

The photos within this advertisement are of the record offered for sale. I do not use stock images or previously used photographs.

This record has been checked visually both under normal daylight and under a strong under halogen spot-lamp. Every record I sell has been checked for its audio quality and played through completely on both sides. I check to ensure that they are flat on the rotating turntable.

I grade all records using The Record Collectors grading system, visually grading the vinyl surfaces, labels, inner sleeve and cover, adding a single (+Plus) if I believe the quality is slightly better (- Minus) if slight under.

I take great care in the dispatch of records and only use strong cruciform packaging. Every record is placed within a new poly-lined inner before its dispatch to you. The vinyl and sleeve are separated to decrease the likelihood of damage to sleeves. I can offer combine postage for two records for the same cost as sending one.

The Record Collectors Grading System

MINT: The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra Items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing of edges, of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
