Description
HERE is a lovely UK vinyl copy of Tyrannosaurus Rex's debut LP, My people were fair ...' on the sought after Regal Zonophone label from 1968. This is a first pressing stereo copy contained within a first pressing mono sleeve; I believe this is how they were sometimes sold, when there was a shortage of the correct sleeves at the factory.
The stereo disc is in strong VG+ condition, with both labels showing only moderate traces of spindle activity, and only the very lightest of marks detectable on both sides of the vinyl when examined under strong halogen lighting. This is among the earliest possible pressings, with a K T tax code on the side one label, 1G/1G endings to matrices and 1G/1R mother stampers.
The patents pending front laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse mono sleeve is also in strong VG+ condition with very light wear and just a thin line of laminate loss along the top edge (see photo), which is possibly a factory fault.
The rare lyric inner with John Peel motif is hard to fault with razor sharp edges and no creasing.

PLEASE NOTE: I carefully pack vinyl with records removed from covers, and placed inside spare inners if there are custom inners present, such as here.
