TYRANNOSAURUS?REX - My People were Fair ...etc - 1968 - Regal Zonophone - MONO Version

First album by legendary folk/rock band which morphed into 1970s pop outfit, T.Rex.
This is the MONO?version of the first 1968 release and includes the original lyric insert
Sleeve: VG. Integrity is very good, although quite worn along the aperture and on corners. Laminate is intact, however. On the rear the non-laminated areas show signs of much handling. There is some writing on this side, including track timings which the 14-year old version of me thought would be a good idea to add at the time!
Inner Sleeve: White generic
Insert: VG. It is intact, with no tears. Slightly creased at corners. Some liquid stain spots evident (see picture), otherwise in reasonably good condition.
Disk: VG. Although the disk looks extensively marked, it actually plays well. There is surface noise, which is primarily noticeable between tracks (and John Peel’s bit!). The vinyl does not jump or stick and, on playback, I did not detect any particularly loud pops or cracks.
NON-U.K.?BIDDERS - Please bear in mind BEFORE bidding that international delivery costs (I use ebay’s Global Shipping Programme) MAY?BE?MORE than the value of the record. If that’s going to be a problem, please DON’T?bid.
I’m not a record dealer but just someone who has suddenly reached pensionable age and that old adage ‘You Can’t Take It With You’ has started to ring true.
So it’s time to release some equity from my record collection, which includes 60s,70s & 80s vinyl albums and singles, plus my extensive, predominantly-1977 punk/new wave singles collection (including a genuine Peaches ‘Blackmail’ sleeve to be auctioned at some stage….)
My gradings are guided by Discogs, and I’m trying to be as honest and accurate as I can. All records played one last time before posting on ebay, just to be sure…
PLEASE?NOTE:?This album is an original piece of vinyl. It’s not new or Mint, so If you want something that plays flawlessly, please consider buying the CD instead!
