Description
After the completion of the Taake trilogy “Nattestid…Bjoergvin…Doedskvad”, controversial mainman Hoest entered Conclave Studios with rising star producer Bjoernar E. Nilsen (Dead to this World, The Batallion, Helheim, Vulture Industries, etc) to record the long awaited follow up in 2008. The result is an occult and obscure album with Hoest performing all instruments and vocals. After the band’s 16 years of existence, Taake is still highly acclaimed for being one of the few bands that still maintain the primeval aspects of Norwegain Black Metal. The new self-titled album is no exception; one foot solidly in the 90’s tradition, combined with Taake’s intense, unique and unpredictable dynamics. The gatefold double LP features exclusive bonus track as well as poster and different cover artwork.
