Bulk Shipping Deal

I have discovered that Fedex do a good flat rate on 10Kg and 25 Kg boxes. The 10Kg can take about 40-45 records on average and costs approximately $90 to anywhere in Western Europe and $100 to North America, so just under or over $2 a record, depending on where you are. The 25Kg box can take about 80-90 records and costs approximately $130 to anywhere in Western Europe and $180 to North America, so just under or over $1.5 a record, depending on where you are. For my regular customers, for whom I am happy to keep shipments open for a couple of months while they accumulate LPs they have bought these prices are not to be sniffed at, especially considering that these boxes are trackable all the way and are delivered EITHER OVERNIGHT OR WITHIN TWO DAYS depending on where you are. If you want to take advantage of this, let me know. These prices are just a guide and are subject to Fedex changing them and exchange rates.

Condition Guide:

Mint: Either factory sealed or never played.

Excellent: Only very minor wear.

Very Good: A few inaudible marks, some surface noise - great for its age.

Good: A few marks, some audible ticks, some surface noise, but overall serviceable.

Worn: Not for the purist! Marked, perhaps even will skip a couple of times. I only advertise such a record if it is extremely rare.

I award my ratings after a visual inspection, based on years of experience as a collector myself. Sometimes, for example in the case of a pressing flaw, I listen to the record to determine whether it is audible or not.

Dusty: Sometimes records recovered from estates, collections etc. are very dusty. I do not clean records as a rule. Dust is a collectors friend! It protects the grooves and preserves the vinyl in good condition.

If you are an International collector and you are looking for specific records, ask and maybe ye shall receive - do not however, ask me for off-ebay trades!

Happy Bidding!
