RECORD AND SLEEVE/COVER GRADING - VG
The cover has yellowing, fraying and minor splits. Even though it has lots of wear the sleeve and its parts seem mostly intact. The records are in VG shape, some of them have a lot of scuffing but they play very well with minimal noise. This is a very rare jingle DJ kit with a colorful sleeve. The sleeve has a pouch on the inside to stick with the kangaroo theme. There is one inner sleeve that has a kangaroo on one side. There is an additional insert with the "flip, man, flip" wording. You get 4 records, there is one record that has celebrity voices touting the portable radio, including a thick accented Astrud Gilberto. You get two copies of the one sided jingles, the two sided record with celebrity voices, and another one sided record with several different takes on the lively companion jingle featuring all different genres of music. It may be the Johnny Mann singers behind most of the jingles, but I am not quite sure. The performers, except for the celebrity voices, are unnamed. The male announcer sometimes talks of the portable radio being a great companion for the housewife.  Extremely hard to find kit with additional records. Low starting bid. No reserve.

VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM:
Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus. Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink. Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover. VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear.  VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits. VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits.  G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed.  STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects.  Hairline scuffs -  are light yet visible. You cannot feel them with the skin of your finger. (I cannot fathom feeling it with your fingernail as described in Goldmine...why would you do that?) Scratches you can feel. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one.  I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+. "Age wear" on a cover is either fading or yellowing. "Shelf wear" is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying.
