Description
I've owned this record since new in the 1960s and have played it carefully. Whilst not being an expert in grading LPs, I would say that it plays as well as some Ex graded records I have bought on eBay, certainly VG+ with minimal crackling on needle run-in and no crackling that I can hear during playback. For me, it seems to play just as well as when I first played it about 50 years ago. The sleeve is also in good condition with minimal wear on the corners but slight yellowing on the white area of the front cover. All seams are sound and the album title is clearly displayed on the spine. Also included is the original Blue Note characterised inner paper sleeve in reasonably good condition. If you've read this far you'll probably already know that it is Herbie Hancock's debut album described as "one of the most accomplished and stunning debuts in the annals of jazz" and including "Watermelon Man"
