Description
DESCRIPTION: Amazing Talk Talk LP- Spirit Of Eden. Early UK press with A-1-1-1/B-2-1-1 matrix and inner sleeve. By far the best copy of this I have ever heard/seen. Had been kept in a PVC sleeve, vinyl in a seperate plain white lined inner and little sign of it having been played. Compare this to the other orignals on sale on ebay- the others are untested, everyone knows you often get perfect looking copies of this that are unlistenable because of surface noise. "Not played by us" seems to be a common comment but of course the vinyl is still graded NM. Thats bull. This has very occasional soft ticks in only the quietest passages. Some have heavily yellowed covers but still graded EX! LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER:EMI PCSD 105 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1988 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl looks amazing. Deep wet look sheen. Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. easily the best playng copy of this I have ever had. Sounds Excellent. Clear and loud with only an occasioal tick as mentioned above. No background sound/static other than that. Music is amazing as you will know. Cover is firm and square and has less than light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Inner is clean and white, one side pretty much perfect, light foxing to upper part of lyric side. Super clean labels- see photos. . No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Great copy all round. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
