Artist: Talk Talk
Title: Spirit of Eden
Vinyl Condition: Very Good- Visual / Very Good Audio (Visual appearance: Shiny clean playing surface, there are some light hairlines, the odd scuff, and run-in scuffing to both sides, hard to see without bright light but they are there. I have added photos of the main offenders, happy to send more on request. Luckily they are not feelable and do not affect play.
Audio Tested: Plays through beautifully, with no skips or jumps. Please note: Plays with some crackle to run-ins on both sides, and often audible during songs, but never overwhelming. Obviously its a very quiet album, with long passages of silence so you're more likely to notice any vinyl/surface noises inherent in the format. Some examples: in Inheritance the crackle is as loud as Mark's vocal in the intro, but not the horns & guitars in the middle, and during Desire its there at the beginning but not that noticeable during the cowbell sections with the guitar and drums. Also depends on how loud you blast the record. There's also the odd pop from static, but no major auditory distortion. Might have less surface noise after a good deep clean, or may have worn grooves.)
Sleeve Condition: Very Good (Well preserved inner and outer. Minimal wear, some discolouration and barely perceptible ringwear to outer. Fully readable spine. More or less excellent except a surface indentation and some residue from sticker removal both on the front - see photos. Inner is about ex, well-preserved)

Original first UK press of Spirit of Eden, the exceptional album by Talk Talk, really needs no introduction. A great copy for playing and enjoying, hope you enjoy. Free UK recorded postage. Check out my other vinyl, I'm happy to combine postage. Used records are cleaned with record-cleaning fluid and posted in card mailers, with additional corrugated card stiffeners.
