Description
Here for sale is a one-owner original US first edition 1977 copy of Talking Heads’ Sire Records single. Purchased new at Liverpool’s Probe Records by singer/author Julian Cope, the item was immediately placed in a thick polythene cover for safe keeping. The glossy picture sleeve – both sides emblazoned with the same photo – remains almost like new despite the low autumn sunlight suggesting otherwise. Better still, both sides of the vinyl have just been played through and both sound superb: no clicks, no jumps, nothing bad except perhaps a tiny amount of a surface noise before each song begins. M-
