Description
For sale is Talking Heads' Fear Of Music, released in 1979 on Sire Records. There is an etched G.C. Sterling in the run out, having been mastered by Glen Calbi @ Sterling Sound, a highly regarded engineer and has matrix numbers WW1/WW1on the dead wax around the labels, which means it was a first pressing at the Capitol Record's Winchester, Va pressing plant. I immediately put this album, like all my records, in a protective inner sleeve. The cover is the sought after "textured" cover and has minor corner blunts and some color loss around the spine. The inner sleeve is near mint. The vinyl is mint too. It's been played on only Audiophile equipment over the years and still has a lot of life yet. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I'm a big fan Talking Heads and have a lot of their 45 RPM singles and more of their albums in my Ebay store. Please take a look! There are ALL mint! I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
