Genuine 1979 US first pressing on Sire Records. Lacquers mastered at Sterling Sound, New York — confirmed stamped in both runout grooves. Non-standard matrix variant with “sub” and “JW #2” codes not found in the commonly documented Winchester pressings — of interest to deadwax researchers and serious collectors. Full matrix details photographed.
CONDITION
Vinyl: VG+ — Visually graded under strong direct lighting. Light surface marks consistent with careful play. No deep scratches or gouges observed. Should play with minimal surface noise.
Jacket: VG — Original embossed diamond-plate cover. Texture fully intact on both sides — the primary authenticity marker for this pressing. Visible corner bumping on bottom corners, light edge wear along top, minor soiling to back. No seam splits. No writing or stickers.
