Description
Talking Heads "Once In A Lifetime"
This is a US Promo 12" EP on Sire PRO-A-930 from 1980. It plays at 45 RPM. The labels are yellow with blue Sire logo at top center. This 12" EP provides the best pressing of these songs, because the grooves in the vinyl are further apart. It comes in a plain white cover with holes in the center so you can see the labels. There is a title sticker on the front at top right. These songs are from their fourth album : 'Remain In Light'. They were produced by Brian Eno and Talking Heads. The record sides are noted "This Side' and 'That Side'.
The songs and times on 'This Side' are : Once In A Lifetime (4:20) and Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On) (5:45). The songs and times on 'That Side' are : Houses In Motion (4:27) and Once In A Lifetime (3:33 edit).
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M-
The cover is mint minus with no ring wear, no writing, and no seam splits. There is very slight wear and a slight impression from the record. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. There is a tiny scuff on side 1 near the beginning of song 2 that makes light 'ticks' and a tiny bit of haze at the beginning of side 2 that makes no sounds. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 8 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are NO handling charges. This record will weigh 24 ounces when ready to ship. US winners can choose between Media mail or Priority mail. I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number. Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International. I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday).
