Tammys – ‘Hold Back the Light of Dawn’ / ‘Gypsy’ – Veep 1210 wd (US)  

Two great sides, particularly ‘Hold Back the Light of Dawn’ – much better than the novelty tune ‘Egyptian Shumba’, in my humble opinion – from Lou Christie’s backing girls; this is the Tammys’ second single, and their first for United Artists’ Veep subsidiary.

Condition: VG+ or thereabouts; a little dust, that’s all (please listen to the clips). Clean labels (please see scans).
