Tangerine Dream ORIG GER 2nd Press LP Electronic meditation VG+ 71 Ohr Krautrock
Original 2nd Press German LP released in 1971 on Ohr Records. Cat: OMM 556 004. Comes in Gloss gatefold sleeve.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward on listing them over the next few months.
Electronic Meditation, Tangerine Dream's debut album, features the lineup of Edgar Froese, Conrad Schnitzler, and Klaus Schulze (his only album with Tangerine Dream). The album is not without its flaws, but it's strong in many ways and shows abundant promise. Wildly experimental timbres, passages, and textures dominate this sound world. Bringing a rock & roll effort to a decidedly avant-garde sound, the album manages to be very accessible and hard to dislike.

There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles in parts most noticebale at start and ends of sides and is in VG+ condition. Gloss gatefold cover has some light marks on inside of gatefold and a few light crease marks on back left edge and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
