Tangerine Dream ORIG GER 2nd Press LP Electronic meditation VG+ 71 Ohr Krautrock
Original 2nd Press German LP released in 1971 on Ohr Records. Cat: OMM 556 004. Comes in Gloss gatefold sleeve.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward to listing them over the next few months. All records have been professionally cleaned and play tested and graded conservatively.
Electronic Meditation, Tangerine Dream's debut album, features the lineup of Edgar Froese, Conrad Schnitzler, and Klaus Schulze (his only album with Tangerine Dream). The album is not without its flaws, but it's strong in many ways and shows abundant promise. Wildly experimental timbres, passages, and textures dominate this sound world. Bringing a rock & roll effort to a decidedly avant-garde sound, the album manages to be very accessible and hard to dislike.

There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles in parts and a few light pops at start of side one and is in VG+ condition. Gloss gatefold cover has some ringwear, light marks and a small crease mark on back bottom left corner and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
