Tartini Mozart Violin Sonatas Oistrakh Aust Columbia 33OCX
David Oistrakh with Vladimir Yampolsky performs Tartini’s “Devil’s Trill” Sonata, and Mozart’s “Violin Sonata” in B flat, K. 454. An original Australian pressing on the Columbia Label (33 OCX 1415) the labels are blue with gold lettering, and this is a “pancake” pressing. There are some light surface scuffs and marks, otherwise the record is of very good appearance and plays and sounds superb with low-level surface noise. The record labels have some small tears. The English cover has rubbed with a ring and a few small creases, and there is a small tear in the top fold over on the back.
