Haruomi Hosono, Tatsuro Yamashita, Shigeru Suzuki, Yukihiro Takahashi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Masataka Matsutoya, and other top creators who continue to support the Japanese pop scene today take on the challenge of "island music." A masterpiece of an instrumental project album released in 1978. It is full of J-fusion-oriented tracks such as "Cosmic Surfing", which is the basis of the YMO version, "Slack-Key Rumba" and "Last Paradise" by Haruomi Hosono, Tatsuro Yamashita's mini-suite "Nostalgia of Islands", and Shigeru Suzuki's "Passion Flower" and "Noa Noa." The jacket photo is by Shinpei Asai. Other participating members include Tatsuo Hayashi, Shuichi Murakami, Kenji Takamizu, Shigeru Hamaguchi, Nobu Saito, Jun Sato, Kenji Omura, Hirofumi Tokutake, and Hidefumi Toki.
